A Capela Town Council: situation
Where is it placed?
A Capela is a town council located in the north of the province of A Coruña, culminated by the “Serra do Forgoselo” and joint with the town council of San Sadurniño in the north. The Eume river and his valley form the natural border with the town council of Monfero in the south. At west the border is shared with the town council of Cabanas, having adjoining territory with the town councils of Fene and Neda too.
The town council of A Capela, with an area of 59 Km², are divided into three parishes: A Capela, Caaveiro and Cabalar, and it owns to the region of the Eume.
It has a population of 1520 inhabitants, according to the census of the 1st of January 2003, with a density of 25,7 people by Km².
It’s an small town council, that has all necessary to spend a days of relax: a wide offer of accommodations, restaurants, cultural and sportive substructures and funny celebrities both parishes and gastronomic, or that ones which remain antique ways of life.
